The primary goal of a crypto airdrop and vesting is to promote a blockchain startup, project, or service. The team can bootstrap its project and ensure a fair distribution of tokens among its community from day one by issuing tokens to users.

The greater the interest in the token, the more likely it will rise in value. Furthermore, once the token begins trading on an exchange, recipients are incentivized to raise awareness and help the project reach a wider audience.

Sentre developed Lightning Tunnel to support the project owner in meeting their objective at lightning speed. In this article, we will show you how to use Lightning Tunnel and how this one-sign bulk transaction tool surpasses its other peers in saving your time and money effectively.

How to create Airdrops on Lightning Tunnel

To create an airdrop campaign on Lightning Tunnel, simply go to the Airdrop page and choose “Add New”.

Step 1. Choose your Airdrop token, input method, and time

Start with choosing your Airdrop token from the list. You can also search with its address or name via the search bar.

Your balance for the chosen token, and its mint address will be displayed automatically. Make sure you choose the right token!

Choose the input method for your transfer information. This includes wallet addresses and token airdrop amount. You have two options:

• Manual: You will have to enter all wallet addresses and airdrop amount by hand.
• Automatic: If you have a CSV or TXT file that lists all the wallet addresses and airdrop amount, choose this option to save time!

Then, set these two important timestamps:

Unlock time

• Set a specific time to airdrop your tokens.
• If you choose ‘Send immediately’, the tokens will be distributed immediately.

Expiration time

• The deadline for your recipients to claim their tokens. If the recipient hasn’t claimed by this time, you can revoke their airdrop tokens. This is super effective to opt out of inactive wallets and bots!
• If you choose ‘Unlimited’, there will be no deadline to claim the tokens.

When you’re done, choose ‘Continue’.

Step 2. Manual Input Method

Enter the recipient's wallet address and the amount of token you want to send. Then, click on the “OK” button to confirm and add more wallet addresses.

Keep adding wallet addresses and token amounts until the end of your airdrop list. When you’re done, press “Continue”.

Step 2. Automatic Input Method

Select the CSV or TXT file containing wallet addresses and token amounts from your computer or drag and drop it into the upload box.

You can double-check the data again in the details box, along with other information at the bottom of the screen.

Some of the most common errors we’ve seen from Lightning Tunnel campaign owners include:

• Duplicate wallet addresses

• Missing token amount

Be sure to check through everything before you press ‘Continue’!

Step 3. Confirm and transfer

This step is the same for both Manual and Automatic methods.

At this point, you can recheck everything for the last time:

• The total number of tokens to transfer
• The number of recipients
• The airdrop unlock time
• The expiration time
• Your starting balance
• The remaining balance after airdrop

When you're finished, click “Transfer”.

Step 4. Share the link to your recipients

Your airdrop link is now ready! Share the link in your group chat or your airdrop announcement post on social media sites, or send it to your recipients in an email.

How to create Vestings on Lightning Tunnel

To create a vesting campaign on Lightning Tunnel, go to the Vesting page and choose “Add New”.

Step 1. Choose your Vesting token and schedule calculation mode

Start with choosing your Vesting token from the list. You can also search with its address or name via the search bar.

Your balance for the chosen token and its mint address will be displayed automatically. Make sure you choose the right token!

Choose the vesting schedule calculation mode. You have two options:

• Automatic: All you have to do is enter your vesting campaign details. Lightning Tunnel will automatically do all the calculations!
• Manual: You will need to manually calculate your own vesting schedule and create a CSV or TXT file containing wallet addresses, token amount, and date of transfer.

Step 2. Set your campaign expiration time

If you chose the Manual mode, the only thing left to enter is an Expiration time:

• This is the deadline for your recipients to claim their tokens. If the recipient hasn’t claimed by this time, you can revoke their vesting tokens. This is super effective for opting out of inactive wallets and bots!
• If you choose ‘Unlimited’, there will be no deadline to claim the tokens.

Once you’re done, choose ‘Continue’.

Step 3. Import your Vesting Schedule file

Reminder: You need to manually calculate your own vesting schedule and create a CSV or TXT file containing wallet addresses, token amount and date of transfer (*).

Now all you need to do is upload the file from your computer or drag and drop it into the upload box.

Once the file is fully uploaded, all relevant information will automatically be shown on the screen like this:

Recheck everything before you continue! All information can still be edited at this stage. For example, if you want to edit any wallet’s token vesting amount and unlock time, simply click on it. A window will appear:

Change the token amount and unlock time as needed, then choose ‘Update’.

You can add more wallet addresses to the campaign:

• Choose ‘Add more’.

• Enter the extra wallet address, its token vesting amount and unlock time.

• Once you’re done, choose ‘OK’ and move on to the next until the end of your list.

You can also bulk delete wallet addresses from the campaign:

• Choose ‘Select’.

• Tick on all wallets that need to be deleted, then choose ‘Delete’ - or ‘Cancel’ if you don’t want to delete them anymore.

When you’re satisfied with your list of recipients, choose ‘Continue’.

Automatic mode

Step 2. Set up and input information

If you chose the Automatic mode, enter all information below so Lightning Tunnel can calculate your vesting schedule:

• TGE (Token Generation Event) Percentage: The percentage of tokens to be sent during the TGE. If TGE = 0, the recipients won’t receive tokens on the TGE time.
• TGE Time: The time and date of the TGE.
• Cliff: The wait duration counted from the TGE until the recipients can receive their tokens for the first time. You can choose from the dropdown list or customize to your needs.
• Distribution frequency: The wait duration between each vesting date after the cliff is over. You can choose from the dropdown list or customize to your needs.

The customized duration must follow the format: Xd (day), Xmonth, or Xy (year)

• Distribute in: The total duration of your vesting campaign.
• Expiration time: The end date to claim tokens - if users don’t claim their tokens before this date, you can revoke these tokens. When you turn on the “Unlimited” switch, there will be no expiration time for token claiming.

When you’re done, choose ‘Continue’.

Step 3. Enter the recipient information and the token amount

Now you need to provide wallet addresses and the amount of token each wallet will receive during your vesting campaign.

After entering each wallet address and token amount, choose ‘OK’ to move on to the next until the end of your wallet list. Lightning Tunnel will also calculate said wallet’s vesting schedule automatically!

Note that you can edit the unlock time and token vesting amount by clicking on it. A window will appear:

After editing the token amount and unlock time where needed, choose ‘Update’.

Once you’re satisfied with the vesting schedule, choose ‘Continue’.

Step 4. Confirm and transfer

This step is the same for both Automatic and Manual modes.

You can now double-check everything:

• The total number of tokens to transfer
• The number of recipients
• The expiration time
• Your starting balance
• The remaining balance after vesting

When everything is clear, click “Transfer.”

Step 5. Share the link

Your vesting link is now ready! Share the link in your group chat or your airdrop announcement post on social media sites, or send it to your recipients in an email.

How to claim your tokens on Lightning Tunnel

When a project sends you an airdrop via Lightning Tunnel, you will receive a redemption link. You will be taken to the Sen Hub website by clicking on this link.

Press Connect your wallet, or choose from the list of wallets available.

A pop-up will appear if you are on the airdrop list. Click Redeem to receive your tokens
